Allen's Pond Wildlife Sanctuary
*Herb Hadfield Conservation Area – is a 150-acre property owned by the Westport Land Conservation Trust. It features a pine-oak forest, meadows, and wooded wetlands, with well-maintained trails and boardwalks for hiking. The area is popular for outdoor recreation, including birding, and offers access from Adamsville Road and Cornell Road. The area protects the Angeline Brook A coldwater trout stream where rare sea-run brook trout spawn.

*Healthy Trail- My personal favorite walking path in town. Park at entrance to Gooseberry (town sticker needed ) or Park free at Gooseberry. Walk down West beach road. Level Paved walking path walk thru Campground all the way to Horseneck beach, nice ocean views. Option to park at Horseneck beach, Ma residents 62+ can get a Senior lifetime parking pass for $10. visit
