                                                                     Fall River Massachusetts  is a city located about 46 miles south of Boston and 16 miles southeast of Providence Rhode Island. Fall River runs along the Taunton River & is surrounded by Freetown & Westport MA. The city's population was 93,884 during the 2021 census, making it the tenth largest city in the state of MA.

The Massachusetts , nicknamed the Big Mamie preserved for generations to see. Visit the museum with memorabilia from the bombing of Pearl Harbor and other artifacts from WWII and the Titanic.  You can board and experience the confinements of the Submarine Lionfish.  View the USS Joseph Kennedy that once hunted Soviet submarines in the cold war. The maritime museum has over 150 ship models. Including a 28' model of the Titanic. Located at 5 Water St. Fall River MA.                                                                                                                                                                      Ride Fall River's Carousel,  the carousel is a work of art, lovingly carved by 1920's craftsmen. This all wood carousel has been restored to its original luster. Enjoy a ride for just $1.00   For decades this ride made Lincoln Park a fixture in North Dartmouth, MA. today This beautiful Antique Carousel is thriving in its new home at Battleship Cove. The carousel is open seasonally and is available for parties and private rentals year round.                                                                                                                                               
Walking Paths in Fall River Mass  Nearby to Battleship cove is a nice walking trail boardwalk. The boadwalk offers views of the Taunton River, Braga Bridge, Bordons Lighthouse and Battleship Cove.                                                                                                                                      
 The Watuppa Walking trail & Bike Path, offers views of south Watuppa Pond. Parking is across the street from the Meditech center on rte. 6 near Eastern Ave. The 0.6 mile bicycle and recreation path spans from near the Westport line behind Lepage's Restaurant ( excellent sea food by the way, I highly recommend it, ) to Eastern Ave. The picturesque path runs along the northern shore of South Watuppa, where the Fall River branch of the Old Colony Railroad existed.The bike path, which includes several benches and sitting areas, is an effort to make the beauty of South Watuppa Pond publicly available. You can bring a picnic lunch, walking shoes, roller blades, bikes and enjoy the natural beauty of this lovely pond.

We have bought & sold quite a bit of properties over the last 35 years & have had the fortune of working with some very fine Real Estate agents. We had a property for sale that didn't sell last year and Karen contacted us, telling us she could sell our property.
